The makers, and how they got here

Behind the catalogue is a shorter list of places. A scissor works in Sheffield grinding and assembling by hand since 1760. An umbrella maker in Bethnal Green kept by the same family for more than two centuries. A town in west Wales where the jeans factory closed in 2002, and the workshop that opened nine years later to put the skill back to work.
