Ashley Iles (Edge Tools) Ltd

Ashley Iles Limited was started in Sheffield, UK in 1948 by pattern maker Ashley Iles; he gave up his day job and set out to make and sell his own range of specialist wood carving and turning tools. Today the company remains proudly independent and is run by Ashley's son Tony and family members, with a dedicated team of highly skilled staff. Forged, ground and tempered in England by time served craftsmen using the traditional methods of the golden age of tool making. Woodworking groups are invited to visit our Lincolnshire toolmaking factory.
