EXEAT
Says it began 2021Where Tisbury, WiltshireNames Laura Ward

Once upon a time in the English countryside, a girl home from boarding school on an Exeat Weekend stumbled upon her mother's old wooden racquet in the loft. This was the start of her childhood love affair with tennis. Yet as school ended and her career took flight, there was less time for play, and the racquet was retired. Years later, the girl (let's call her Laura) was offered her dream job in Paris. Alas, it came with a catch: she didn't know a soul in the city. How was she to spend her weekends? Remembering her school days, the answer was clear. Tennis, of course. So she joined a club and set out in search of an enchanting new court gown. This was Paris, after all. But when the perfect piece eluded her, inspiration struck: 'Wouldn't it be wonderful to play in something truly special. A designer tennis dress that's joyfully chic, enduringly flattering and worthy of high summer on an English grass court.' And so EXEAT was born.
