West Yorkshire Spinners was founded in 1997 in the original home of the British worsted spinning industry, at a time when many spinning mills close due to the increase in yarns being imported from overseas. In 2012 we launched our own yarn, Fleece 100% Bluefaced Leicester, to help champion British wool. Our products are spun right here in the Aire Valley, West Yorkshire, and we now have fantastic modern premises. From carding and combing to spinning and dyeing, the majority of our processes are carried out within a 20-mile radius of our in-house facilities in Keighley, Yorkshire.
