Bird & Davis

Bird & Davis was founded in 1928 by Mr. Bird and Mr. Davis in a modest workshop on Rochester Place. Over the years, the company built a solid reputation crafting quality windows, doors, and staircases. After Mr. Bird and Mr. Davis retired, the business was passed on to Tom Martin and Ernie Bishop, who continued the tradition of skilled craftsmanship. In time, Bird & Davis expanded its expertise by producing stretcher frames. In 1984, Rob took the helm with only basic training on the machinery, driven by passion and determination. Due to growing demand, Rob relocated the business to a larger factory in Kentish Town in 1992. For nearly four decades, Rob has honed his craft and passed on his knowledge to many, including his son Marco, who joined Bird & Davis in 2009. Together, they have worked side-by-side for over 14 years, ensuring the highest standards in every piece they produce. As the business continued to grow, the Kentish Town factory eventually became too small. In 2014, Bird & Davis moved to a spacious new facility on Brunswick Park Road, where we operate today. We embrace technological advancements while maintaining our commitment to traditional craftsmanship, enabling us to deliver products of exceptional quality to every customer.
