Rhys Jones began producing thigh-high woollen socks for local coal miners in 1892. Still in Carmarthenshire, Wales we design and make the very best socks, knitwear and accessories, hand-crafted using natural yarns such as wool, cotton and cashmere. It's all done in-house. Corgi is rooted in quality, craftsmanship and a deep connection to Wales and its unique landscape. From the materials we choose to the way each piece is made, we remain dedicated to preserving the skills and traditions that have shaped our brand for generations. We make what we sell, right here in Wales. For over 130 years, Corgi has been creating exceptional socks and knitwear, with six generations of the same family carrying the business forward. Today, Corgi is led by Chris Jones and Lisa Wood, alongside Chris's son Joshua, the great-great-great-grandchild of our founder, Rhys Jones. Every pair of socks and every piece of knitwear starts its journey here, at the heart of our workshop. Our Welsh factory has been handcrafting socks for over a century. Royally commended we take pride in creating the most luxurious hand-framed knitted garments, accessories and hand-finished socks. For five generations, our family has been dedicated to making socks and knitwear of lasting quality.
