The fruity one Burmese oud is unlike the rest of the range. Wild berries and sweet fruit at the opening, honey wood and soft leather underneath. It is the only oil we carry that reads as bright rather than dark, and people are usually surprised by it. Ours is grown, not taken from wild forest. The trees are planted and tended, wounded deliberately, then left for years while the resin forms. No wound, no agarwood — it is the tree's own defence, and nothing else produces it.
