Truffle Salt is a blended salt of salt and truffle flavour that has pungent fungal flavour that works well with pasta, roasted vegetables, or eggs, chips. Steenbergs Black Truffle Salt is a sea salt flavoured with summer truffle. It is made for us in Italy with truffles from France. Black Truffle Salt will add a touch of class to your recipes. Great added to a white sauces or sprinkled over pasta. Axel s Tasting Notes: Black Truffle Salt is pungent, feral, mushroomy. Food pairing: Black Truffle Salt is best with eggs, mushrooms, pasta, chips, steak.

The company describes its own premises: "It was set up in 2003 by Axel and Sophie Steenberg (pictured) in North Yorkshire.
