Organic Long Jing (Lung Ching) is one of the most popular Chinese green teas. It has a flat leaf, yellow-green in colour. Long Jing gives a pale green brew and has an herbaceous flavour with a slight bitterness. Long Jing is the most popular of the green teas amongst Chinese people. It originally came from the hills around Hangzhou, but this style of flat tea leaves is made all over Chinese these days. The green tea harvest for Long Jing starts in April and goes on a few weeks.
