Clearspring s Japanese Organic White Miso Paste is unpasteurised, fermented whole soya paste with rice. This organic white miso is made to an old family recipe in Japan s Nagano prefecture. The miso is sweet and savoury whilst still bringing the umami that you are looking for. Use for making miso soups, add to stews, sauces or in dressings and even as a glaze. Miso is a live product and ongoing fermentation may cause lid to bulge. It will still be safe to consume. Harmless white yeasts may develop from exposure to air. Simply skim off.

The company describes its own premises: "It was set up in 2003 by Axel and Sophie Steenberg (pictured) in North Yorkshire.
