Organic Harissa Powder a dry spice mix that is flavoured like harissa paste. Simply add water or oil and like magic you ve got a paste. Steenbergs Organic Harissa is blended to our own recipe in small batches in North Yorkshire with no nasties added. We then pack it down in small batches for maximum freshness. Harissa is a warming, earthy blend of spices that s a mainstay of North African and Middle Eastern cuisine. The heat of cayenne is rounded out with the earthy warmth of caraway, coriander and cumin. To make it into a paste: just add water and stir or make your own Tunisian harissa paste

The company describes its own premises: "It was set up in 2003 by Axel and Sophie Steenberg (pictured) in North Yorkshire.
