Seggiano s organic black rice is an Italian organic wholegrain black rice, grown by spceialist rice growers Gli Aironi. This is a great variety of interesting rice for those who like to try something different. Black Venus Rice is a delicious black wholegrain rice, developed from a strain that was originally exclusive to the Chinese imperial family. This variety was sometimes called forbidden rice because of its exclusiveness. Wonderful with seafood, it has a gorgeous creamy flavour and a deep purple colour when cooked.
