Steenbergs Orange Pekoe tea comes from the Lovers Leap tea estate in Ceylon. A classic of its type. Orange Pekoe tea steeps a coppery coloured brew, clean with no bitterness, a mild astringency, herby, a bit woody and floral notes. Steenbergs Orange Pekoe Loose Leaf Tea is one of the finest black Ceylon teas. It comes from the Lovers Leap tea estate in Nuwariya Eliya; this is about 2,000 metres above sea level, where it is in the clouds and which creates a light and very delicate taste and aroma.
