It s so warming and the spices seem to lift the strong tea. Steenbergs Organic Masala Chai is our classic spice mixture for making a chai drink. Steenberg Organic Masala Chai brings together the sweet flavours of cardamom and cinnamon, with the warmth of ginger and a twist of black pepper. Preparing masala chai from scratch is easy put half to 1 teaspoon of masala chai, 2 teaspoons of black tea (Assam or Breakfast tea) and a couple of teaspoons of sugar
