Organic Marjoram is a savoury herb that s got a sharpness to it and a spicy bitterness. Use to flavour pizza and pasta sauces, or scrambled eggs, salads, soufflés, lightly cooked vegetables and fish. Steenbergs Organic Marjoram is less robust than the organic oregano. It has a lovely flowery flavour, which is quite strong and aromatic. It tastes similar to thyme with a camphorous hint over the grassy, savouriness of thyme. Marjoram has a more delicate flavour than oregano but goes well in Italian cooking.
