Organic Liquorice is loose, un-teabagged dried root pieces. Liquorice is sweet, earthy, anise-like and simply delicious. Organic Liquorice tisane is an uplifting herbal tea naked, dried liquorice root pieces, no tea bag. Cultivated in Europe for roughly 1,000 years, it has a bittersweet, woody flavour with strong notes of anise. Liquorice energises and helps settle your stomach, is a cough repressant and is an expectorant. Tea brewing: boil freshly drawn water, then pour on the tea leaves. The company describes its own premises: "It was set up in 2003 by Axel and Sophie Steenberg (pictured) in North Yorkshire.
