Cornflowers are pretty blue dried petals. Use to add some colour to cocktails or sprinkled on cupcakes. Cornflower Petals have a mild, herby flavour with faint hints of clove. They re mostly used for their colour a rich, deep blue. Cornflower Petals are sprinkled on top of cakes and cupcakes. Mix them into icing or put on top of the icing, or try in salads and salad dressings. Add to cocktails and mocktails along with a few spices to liven them up. The company describes its own premises: "It was set up in 2003 by Axel and Sophie Steenberg (pictured) in North Yorkshire.
