Chile Chipotle Flakes medium heat for Mexican chile or Tex-Mex chilli, guacamole or sprinkled into mayonnaise to pep it up. Chipotle chillis are dried, smoked jalapeños. They are coffee coloured and look wrinkled and leathery. They have a mild heat, a toasted nuttiness and spicy heat with hints of sweet chocolate. Chipotle flakes have a heat level of around 5/10, equivalent 2500-5000 Scoville heat units. Chipotle Chilli Flakes add a smoky richness to anything wet soups, salsas, guacamole.
