Celery Seed Bitter and astringent, great in breads and savoury biscuits, salad dressings and mayonnaise. Steenbergs Celery Seeds are tiny little seeds that have an intense celery-like flavour than the plant. Celery seeds are spicy, strong, with hints of parsley, nutmeg and a little bitterness. Celery seeds pair well with tomatoes so in tomato juice, Bloody Mary or Indian curries. Try adding celery seeds to potato salad or coleslaw or stir through cooked cabbage.
