Espresso Martini
Myatt's Fields
£25
Vodka, coffee liqueur and Monmouth coffee. ABV 18.7%. Dick Bradsell made the first one at the Soho Brasserie on Old Compton Street in 1983, as the Vodka Espresso, reportedly for a model who wanted waking up. It became the most famous cocktail of the modern era and the only one London can really claim. We pull every espresso by hand from Monmouth beans. The vodka matters more here than in any other drink we make: a super smooth triple distilled vodka produces a flat Espresso Martini, because the spirit needs enough character to hold the coffee in check. Ours is made for this drink by 58 Co. Bra
