Wales is a green and beautiful land where I've spent many a happy holiday climbing hills and splashing about in the sea (albeit not for long as it was freezing cold). I remember camping on the Llyn Peninsula as a child and on Anglesey as a young woman and fell in love with the ancient and mysterious castles as well as the villages in the valleys beyond. My illustration of Wales includes many castles and it's hard for me to choose which ones to include and which ones to leave out as there is simply not enough space. So I apologies if I've offended anyone by not including a historic Welsh landma
