Wakefield is a Yorkshire city built on grit and grime however my Cityscape reveals a place of great beauty and culture. The magnificent Gothic Cathedral towers over the city and earns its place in my Cityscape as much as the National Coal Mining Museum, which tells the story of the Wakefield's industrial heritage. The Hepworth Gallery and Yorkshire Sculpture Park serve to remind us of the creative talent that hails from this region as well as continues to shape it.
