The aptly named Sunshine Coast is somewhere I knew little about until I started drawing it. Verdant hills over which parakeets fly, roll down to the Noosa River, home to pelicans. Lots more wonderful wildlife including cute koalas live in the Noosa National Park at the foot of the river. Mile after mile of golden sandy beaches are the natural playground for local Aussies and tourists who come to splash about in the sea and chillax on the sand. Paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking... there's lots of fun to be had in the sea, which is also home to the most amazing marine life. I pay homage to the
