As a child I remember seeing the spectacular Swallow Falls at Betws-y-Coed. When I moved to Sheffield, Snowdonia wasn't too far away and I spent two of my Christmas breaks here in the 90s, heading up Snowdon one New Year's Eve and coming down the steep mountain as the mist and dark set in.
