Santiago is a spectacular city and the capital of Chile. Sitting at the foot of snow capped mountains, Santiago is resplendent with old colonial buildings as well as some fantastic 21st Century ambitious architecture. I knew very little about Santiago until I started drawing this beautiful place, where the Cerro San Cristabal looks us over the city and beyond to the Andes Mountains. People ski on the mountains, below which a condor glides above a cloud. Others picnic in the Parque Forestal, sipping an excellent glass of Chilean wine!
