Santander is a major city on the west coast of Spain, looking out over the Atlantic. My illustration of Santander includes the traditional Cantabrian architecture of the Cathedral, main Plaza and town hall contrasting with the ultra modern Centro Bodin. Light houses shine out over the ocean and boats bob about on the bright blue sea. One day I hope to take the ferry from Plymouth to Santander in my campervan and get to know this wonderful city beyond my drawing board.
