I have vivid memories of walking along a huge open expanse of beach, with the waves rolling in off the sea. I was somewhere in South Wales, the Gower Peninsula I think, working at an artist summer camp as a life model. I also have happy memories of a geography school trip a few years earlier, exploring the local geology, the amazing cliffs, fishing ports and beaches. It's been on my list to visit again as I am a big fan of the wonderful woollen blankets made by Melin Tregwynt (so I've included them in my map).
