Missouri is known as the “Show Me State” on account of its people being cynically inclined! I doubt whether this is true but the name has stuck! It’s famous for jazz (Charlie Parker), bluegrass music, and many literary giants including Maya Angelou, T.S. Eliot and Tennessee Williams. I have included the iconic Gateway Arch of St.Louis and the famous Missouri River that winds its way through the state from east to west.
