Loch Leven is a beautiful, heart-shaped lake in Fife. Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned at Lochleven Castle, in the middle of the lake and as such she makes an appearance in my design. The real stars of my Loch Leven Cityscape however are the animals and birds that inhabit the lake and surrounding mountains. A stag looks up to an osprey that is flying away with a freshly caught salmon in his clause. Curlews and swans mooch around the lake and a red squirrel gathers his nuts at Scotlandwell.
