Liverpool is a unique British city, which has been shaped by its history as one of the country's most important ports as well as home of the legendary Beatles. I love the Liver Building with the two little Liver Birds perched on top. I enjoyed drawing the many wharf buildings of Albert Docks and the contrasting two cathedrals that can be seen on the skyline. I've been to Liverpool many times but drawing it gives me a new insight into the city's cultural heritage, which is often overshadowed by the success of four young and very talented men! Today, football is the focus of many of its citizens
