John O Groats is literally at the end of the road. It’s famous being the furthest north you can go and a wopping 874 miles or so from Land’s End. I’ve been to Land’s End and am committed to make the end-to-end trip (by campervan!) to John O Groats one day, inspired by my illustration of this eponymous Scottish settlement. And there’s lots to see when I get there, castles and sandy coves a plenty as well as an amazing array of marine life.
