We had a family camping holiday in Jersey when I was a child and I remember playing on the beach at St Brelades Bay as well as seeing the castle at St Helier. I've included both in my Cityscape of this pretty little British island that's just off the French coastline. I am intrigued by the Franco-Anglo culture that is unique to Jersey. Like with many of my Cityscapes, as I'm discovering and drawing a place I just want to go there right away. It's so frustrating... I can almost taste the sweet Jersey ice-cream on my lips...
