I used to love singing "Over The Sea to Skye " when I was a little girl and finally went on a boat to this enigmatic Scottish island when I was in my thirties. It was mid summer and I hardly slept as it never got dark. I loved the strange light and mysterious mountains of Skye as well as the fantastic wildlife that lives in the ocean and habitats the highlands. The song I loved as a child features in my design, as does Flora Macdonald and Bonnie Prince Charlie, braving the cold Atlantic Ocean, watched on by a couple of seals.
