Ile D'Orleans is a little piece of France in the middle of the St Lawrence River in Canada. Everything oozes Gallic charm, including the pretty, little villages on the island such as Ste Francois, Ste Laurent and St Jean. Quaint little churches with steeples pointing high in the sky represent the villages and farms and vineyards producing an abundance of fruit and wine, occupy much of the rest of the island.
