Hello Huddersfield ! As strategic location in England's industrial revolution, I have included some of the many textile mills in my illustration of Huddersfield , in their original form. I have visited a couple of the mills in the past, buying fabric for my eponymous, upcycled tote bag collection, made from wool and cotton remnants. l love the imprint of the mills on the landscape of the city and its industrial heritage, which we can discover through its many museums, some of which I have featured in my design including the Colne Valley Museum.
