The Moorish heritage of Spain is felt throughout the cobbled streets that wind their way around Granada . From the ancient Moorish quarter of Albaicin, to the Arab Spice Market, magnificent Alhambra Palace and the enchanting Arab Baths, Granada's link to North Africa runs through the city as does the Rio Genil. The influence of gypsy culture is also heard throughout the city's many tapas bars, through the wonderful guitar music and compelling flamenco dance, both of which feature in my illustration of Granada .
