Exmouth is a quiet, little seaside town on the south coast of Devon that is also the beginning of the Jurassic Coastline. The Avocet railway line running parallel to the beautiful Exe Estuary leads down from Exeter to Exmouth and to two miles of golden sand and a warm (for England) sea that drew me down here from the biting cold of Yorkshire. A pretty little Regency terrace sits at the top of the town centre and row upon row of charming beach huts and illuminated lights run along the seafront.
