Eastbourne was my home for a couple of years. I absolutely adored walking on the South Downs, which therefore features heavily in my illustration of this Sussex seaside town. Acknowledged as the sunniest town in the UK, Eastbourne has a beautiful pier and pretty promenade where I could often be found… promenading, after a day at my drawing board! Banoffee Pie was invented in nearby Jevington (Mmm!) and the town is known for its tennis tournaments and theatre productions which feature in my design too.
