Crete was the destination for one of my first “grown up” holidays in the 1980s and I went back a decade later for a yoga retreat. That’s too long ago! I want to roam through ancient ruins, walk on sandy beaches and swim in the warm, aquamarine ocean. Crete was where I first tasted tzatziki, taramasalata and hummus and launched my love for eastern Mediterranean food.
