I loved drawing the walled and wonderful city of Chichester on the south coast of England. Not only is this an illustrative map but it also tells the story of how Chichester has evolved over time. The Romans were here, leaving the wall that surrounds the city, the Tudors left their mark with distinctive buildings such as the Guildhall, as did the Regents and the Victorians in their elegant and grand distinctive styles. In the 21st Century, the city still continues to develop and indeed the modernist Novium commissioned me to create this design of Chichester past and present. I love how the fou
