My illustration of Cardiff celebrates the civic offering of this regional capital as well as its distinctive local cultural heritage. I love the beautiful confidence and cultural referencing in the Millennium Centre and the cute fortresses of Castel Coch and Cardiff Castle, which I remember visiting when I was an art student many years ago. Rugby is the national sport for Wales so it's only right that the Principality Stadium takes centre stage in my illustration of Cardiff , which also features a Welsh rugby player running enthusiastically with a ball.
