The sky is full of flapping wings, squawks and twitters in my colourful illustration of Canada’s feathered friends. A hawk and owl jostle for airspace whilst a heron calmly plucks a fish from the waters into which he has sunk his long, spindly legs. The nation’s symbolic bird , The Loon, glides effortlessly along the calm, cool blue and into the path of a peaceful mallard.
