I knew very little about the British Virgin Islands until I came to draw it for a little shop on one of the many, stunningly beautiful islands that sit in a deep, aqua blue sea. I loved finding out about the area's nautical past with jolly pirates and shipwrecks as well as its unique colonial heritage. But what made me want to get on a plane and hot foot it to British Virgin Islands is the amazing marine life for which this beautiful corner of the world is also home. Where we have not looked, we say so rather than assuming.
