I love the colours of the Brisbane Cityscape, which imbue the design with a sense of Australian patriotism, full of gold and green. I enjoy drawing civic, colonial architecture as I like to describe the juxtaposition of grand and historic buildings standing cheek by jowl with an amazing, ancient and exotic, natural landscape. The Brisbane River is very much the piece de resistance of my design, with many different vessels bobbing along its winding course, over which span several architectural masterpieces.
