I went to art college in Brighton and as such I have three years of happy memories of this wonderful British seaside resort and party town. These include cycling along the sea front and up over the breathtaking landscape of the South Downs, braving the fresh English sea and being wowed by the iconic and majestic Regency architectural wonders of the Royal Pavilions. Having been born and brought up in Nottingham it was a world away from the red brick terraces and factories. It gave me a taste for living by the sea and thirty years later I returned to the coast albeit further west! Julia's vision
