Bradford is steeped in industrial heritage as evidenced by the skyline of this northern powerhouse. Monumental woollen mills mark the landscape, as old and big as mountains. I have spent hours wandering around Salts Mill, where the art of local lad, David Hockney is on display. Other favourite, cultural icons of mine feature in my illustration of Bradford : the Brontes. I remember climbing the steep hill at Haworth to the Parsonage and being the middle of 3 girls, I felt a connection.
