I just love the pretty, little church steeples and beautifully shaped roofs that form a such a lovely skyline in Bordeaux and make it so quintessentially French. When I draw a regional city that has both ambitious, modernist structures combined with significant, historical architectural assets I am never failed to be impressed as it demonstrates a respect for the past and confidence for the future.
