The Black Forest is where my map illustration journey began. When I was a little girl of about 7 or 8 years old, we went on a family camping holiday in Europe. The Black Forest was our first stop and I can still smell the pine tree forests. The awe and wonder that I felt at seeing fairy tale castles and cute alpine houses is something that has stayed with me as I travel the world and discover it through my art. The first taste of chocolate laden Black Forest Gateaux, the first sound of the cuckoo clock. The joy of travel and discovery is something I try to capture in my art and no more is this

We keep this separate from the company badge because a registered office can be an accountant's spare room, and a company can be registered in Britain while everything it does happens somewhere else. Where we have not looked, we say so rather than assuming.
