Bideford is a pretty town on the River Torridge in North Devon. My illustration of Bideford was commissioned by houseware retailer: Blanchards, which is pretty much an institution in the town. I loved drawing the ancient Pannier Market and quaint little shops. Tarka the Otter hails from Bideford , as does the writer Charles Kingsley, both of whom feature in my design.
