I once got stranded in Berlin . On a freezing cold night in January the apartment I had booked online turned out to be non existent and with a major fashion show in town, all the hotels were fully booked. Berlin in January is very, very cold however the arctic climate and lack of sleep didn't stop my sightseeing sojourn intermixed with trade show duties. I loved the Bauhaus Archive which I have included in this design and was humbled by the reminder of what can go badly wrong in the world with landmarks such as Checkpoint Charlie and the Holocaust Memorial.
